New to VCBC

If you’re new, we want to extend our warmest welcome to you at VCBC! We want your visit with us to be as pleasant as possible. After the worship service, please join us for coffee and tea downstairs! Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about us to give you an idea of what VCBC looks like from week to week.

  1. When does Sunday service start?

  2. Our English worship service begins at 9:30 am.

  3. Where should I park?

  4. There are some parking spaces in our parking lot, along Culloden Street and side streets. Parking is also available at Ross Park (two blocks west of VCBC).

  5. What does a typical Sunday look like?

  6. Our typical sunday service lasts for 45 minutes. We start our service with singing worship songs, a message by our pastors, and more worship songs. Our service is contemporary in style. Our dress style is casual.

  7. How can I get connected?

  8. If you’re a first time visitor here, please fill out a communication card located in the pews or a contact form here. One of our pastors will then contact you to help you get plugged-in at VCBC. Feel free to introduce yourself to Pastors Gilbert or Brian. They are always available before and after the worship service. You can also approach any of our friendly greeters or ushers. They are the people wearing name tags near the main doors; they’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

After the worship service, we encourage you to join a Sunday L.I.F.E. Group. We have L.I.F.E. groups for all ages. They are a great way to meet people and experience God together. L.I.F.E. groups meet weekly at church or at peoples’ homes. You can learn from other people, share your thoughts, and fellowship with others.

  9. What about my children?

  10. We provide nursery care on Sunday and have children’s programs on Friday and Sunday. In each program, we strive to teach the Word of God to your child and help them to develop a lifelong relationship with Christ. Click here for more information on our children’s programs.

  11. What if I still have questions?

  12. Please feel free to call us at 604.325.6314 or email english@vcbc.bc.ca
